Today we had the 3rd monthly speaking exam.  A2 students will have a mock written exam on Friday afternoon. They need to complete the test within a time limit. I'll share the answers with them after the test to help them identify lesson content they haven't fully understood. Today, we had W17 vocabulary quiz, practiced words with the -au- and -aw- sound, learned about adverbs that show when, where and how and played phonics bingo to review long vowels.  Students will have only one levelled English lesson because of the Christmas events this Friday. Today, we introduced W17 vocabulary and practiced words with the long e (ea, ee) and short e (e) sounds. W17 unit test papers were returned to students. They should ask their parent to sign the paper and correct mistakes.  I've glued a copy of the 3rd monthly exam scope on p. 38 of the communication book.  Please have a read and sign it before this Friday.    Because of the Christmas events this Friday, students will take W17 vocabulary quiz this Thursday .
