Dear parents,

Exams will be held on:

 l  Listening Exam – Wednesday, March 23, 2022

l  Oral Exam – Thursday/Friday, March 24/25, 2022

l  Written Exam –Tuesday, March 29, 2022

The exams may cover the following:

LISTENING EXAM:

·      Communication book vocabulary Weeks 2-6

ORAL EXAM:   

Describe the differences between two pictures and reading benchmark of a known text.

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 2-6

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·     A Big Fish for Max

·   The Farmer in the Hat

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

  • Digraphs sh, th, all, al
  • Long vowel a_e
  • Consonants soft c and soft g
A copy of the exam scope can be found in your child's communication book. Please have a read and sign it. I'll give students a quick practice for the listening and speaking tests this Friday. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
