G1 104 Announcement 8/30

 Dear parents, 


Welcome to a new school year. I’m sharing some information regarding the use of textbooks, G1 communication book and equipment for Experience Class.  


1. Students received Reading Street (RS) 1R,  Reader’s & Writer’s Notebook (RWN) 1,  Oxford Phonics World 2, Science Grade K today. 

2. They should keep their Oxford Phonics World 2,  RWN 1, Science Grade K at school.  

3. Students should bring their copy of Reading Street 1R home this week, so they can practise reading and use it for their homework and tests.

4. It’s a good idea for students to use an English bag to keep all their textbooks and workbooks together. 

5. Students are advised to use a plastic book cover for RWN 1 to keep it in good condition and a folder to keep worksheets and quiz/tests paper together.  Their RWN and Phonics book are the same size as Reading Street 1R.  

6. Students need colour pencils, a pair of scissors and a bottle of glue for their experience class every Wednesday. Please prepare the necessary equipment for your child and remind them to bring it to school this week.  

7. I’ll give students their English communication books and teach them how to use it in the English lesson tomorrow. They will bring it home and should show it to a parent. Please remember to sign their communication book and remind your child to bring it to school the next day. 

8. There’s no homework today.
