Dear parents, 


Exams will be held on:


  • Listening Exam – Wednesday, March 20th, 2024

  • Oral Exam – Friday, March 22nd, 2024

  • Written Exam –Wednesday, March 27th, 2024


The exams may cover the following:  


LISTENING EXAM: 

  • Communication book vocabulary Weeks 1-5


ORAL EXAM:   

Students will be asked to read a short paragraph that focuses on the vocabulary from W1-5 and use a complete sentence to answer 5 questions based on the paragraph. Students will be evaluated on fluency, pronunciation, intonation, and clarity.


Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify and pronounce:

  • Digraphs: sh, th, a, al

  • Long vowel: a_e

  • Consonants: soft c and soft g


WRITTEN EXAM:  

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 1-5 


Story comprehension:

  • A Big Fish for Max

  • The Farmer in the Hat
