Exams will be held on:
Listening Exam – Wednesday, June 11th, 2025
Oral Exam – Monday, June 9th , 2025
Written Exam – Tuesday, June 17th, 2025
The exams may cover the following:
LISTENING EXAM:
Communication book vocabulary from weeks 10-17
ORAL EXAM:
Students will be assessed based on fluency, pronunciation, intonation, clarity and accuracy.
They will be asked to read an unseen text that focuses on the vocabulary from 10-17.
They will use a complete sentence to answer 5 questions about the text.
They can look at the text to find answers, but they won’t see the questions.
WRITTEN EXAM:
Vocabulary Comprehension: Vocabulary words from weeks 10-17.
Phonics:
r-controlled vowels: ar, or, ore, oar, long vowel a (ai, ay, ea) , vowel digraph ie, long e (ee, ea, ey, y)
