Information about W16 quiz: 

This quiz is not counting towards the final grades. It's intended to help students review the content we've covered this week. Students will have a review session in period 1 on Thursday morning and a quiz in period 1 on Friday morning. 

The Friday quiz will include: 

  • Spelling (W16 vocabulary) 
  • Using vocabulary in context 

e.g.    I like to ______ pizza.   a) eat   b) play   c) go   d) sing 

  • singular nouns vs. plural nouns (-s/-es) 

e.g.   I have many __________.      a) friend    b) friends 

  • Subject-verb agreement in the present simple tense 

e.g.    He _______ his teeth every morning.   a) brush    b) brushes 

  • Phonics review (oa, -ow-, o_e, -ee-, -ea-, i_e, -y, a_e, -ay-) 

A word will be read to students.  Each question has a picture. Students need to choose between two words.
