G1 A2 Class Homework 5/3

Dear parents, 

The second monthly exam has been cancelled. To motivate students and gauge their understanding and progress, I'll carry on with the revision and give students the listening and written exams as formative assessment next week. The result isn't counting towards final grades. I'll give students an exam review worksheet as homework this Thursday. 

A2 students will have the listening exam in period 1 next Tuesday (5/10) and the written exam in period 1 next Thursday (5/12).  

To minimize contact and reduce risks, homework will be collected and checked on Friday.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. 


Today, we practiced long vowels and past tense -ed ending and reviewed proper and common nouns.

We used a Youtube video to introduce the rules for -ed ending and completed the questions on p. 221-222 of Phonics A.

2. Review proper nouns and common nouns 

We talked about the difference between common nouns and proper nouns and used a worksheet in the lesson.
