G2 A2 Class Homework 9/22
Today, we revised for the W4 unit test, practiced using adjectives to give descriptive details in writing, and reviewed the long e sound. A2 students will have a unit test on Friday. Students are advised to use the review worksheets from Wednesday and Thursday and our review Kahoot to revise for the test tomorrow.

W4 Unit Test Scope
The test covers vocabulary, grammar, phonics and reading from W3 and W4. There are 50 questions. Each correct answer is worth 2 points.
Part A: spelling and sentences (10 points)
6 spelling questions and 4 sentence completion questions. Students only choose 4 words from the words they spell.
Part B: spelling and sentences (10 points)
5 spelling questions with picture prompts and 5 sentence completion questions. All 5 words are used.
Part C Phonics: Odd one out. (3 points)
Students need to choose a word that doesn't have the long e sound in a set of three words.
e.g. eat, beat bay
Answer: bay
Part D: Identify adjectives and use them in sentences. (6 points)
In the first 4 sentences, students need to identify an adjecitve.
For the last 2 questions, students need to choose 2 of the adjectives from the first four sentences to make two sentences.
Part E: Past tense -ed ending and sentence completion (6 points)
Students add -ed ending to 4 base form verbs and use two of the past tense verbs to complete 2 sentences.
Part F: Comparative adjectives and superlative adjectives (8 points)
Students add -er and -est to 3 adjectives. (6 points) Then they choose whether to use a comparative or superlative adjective in 2 sentences. (2 points)
Part G Putting the events in the story in the right order. (7 points)
Picture prompts are provided. Students need to put 7 main events of the story in the correct order.
