G2 A2 Class Homework 3/10

Today we had W4 unit test and had a listening comprehension practice.  I'll return the test papers next Monday.  

I've set new online assignments on Savvas Realize.  The due date for the new assignments is 4/17.  Students got a copy of the 1st monthly exam scope on page 14 of the communication book. Please sign it and use it to help your child revise for the exams.

Exams will be held on:

l  Listening Exam – Wednesday, March 22, 2023

l  Oral Exam – Thursday, March 23, 2023

l  Written Exam –Tuesday, March 28, 2023

 The exams may cover the following:  

LISTENING EXAM:

·         Exploring Space with an Astronaut (Weeks 1-2)

·         Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night (Weeks 3-4)

·         The Strongest One (Week 5)

 

ORAL EXAM:   

Students will be evaluated on fluency, pronunciation, intonation, and clarity. They will be asked to read a new text that focuses on the vocabulary from W1-5. They will use a complete sentence to answer 5 questions based on the text. They can look at the text to find answers, but they won’t see the questions.

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 1-4)

 

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·         Exploring Space with an Astronaut

·         Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

  • Long Vowels: a_e, e_e, i_e, o_e, u_e
  • Consonant blends- bl, sl, nt, cl, nd, sl, st, str, fr, spl, br, sk, tw
