Today, we practiced W11 vocabulary and the long e sound and compared three different texts to identify author's purpose.
Students have a copy of the 2nd exam scope on p. 26 (W12) of the communication book. Please sign it by Friday this week and use it to help your child prepare for the exams.

LISTENING EXAM:

Listening comprehension: an unknown text
ORAL EXAM:
Students will be evaluated on fluency, pronunciation, intonation, and clarity. They will be asked to read a new text that focuses on the vocabulary from W7-10. They will use a complete sentence to answer 5 questions based on the text. They can look at the text to find answers, but they won’t see the questions.
WRITTEN EXAM:
Vocabulary Comprehension: Vocabulary words from weeks 7-10)
Story comprehension (understanding of the story):
