G2A2 Class Homework 5/18

Today we reviewed prefixes and words with the long o sound (-oa-, -ow-, and -o-) and practiced identifying subject-verb agreement in the present simple tense and making inferences.  We also used Kahoot to practice for the unit test this Friday. 

Students have a copy of a prefix worksheet in their bubble book. They should use it to revise for the unit test tomorrow.

There are 50 questions. Each correct answer is worth 2 points. 

A. Spelling (6)

Choose 5 words in part A to complete the following sentences.    (5)  

B. Unscramble and spell the words.  (5)

Choose 3 words in part B. Write the correct word on the line to finish the following sentences.  (3) 

C. Phonics: Write (oa, ow, o) on the line to complete words with the long o sound.

D. Subject-verb agreement (play/plays): Circle the correct answer and write it on the line. (6)  

Use your own idea to complete the sentences. Use the present simple tense.    (2) 

E. Prefixes: Circle the correct root word with a correct prefix.  (6) 

Circle the correct root word with a correct prefix and use it to make a sentence.

F. Story comprehension: Write the correct answer on the line. (9)  

5 fill-in-the-blank questions. Students use a complete sentence to answer 4 comprehension questions.

G. Make inferences. (2)  

Students read 2 short passages and write the letter of the answer on the line.
