Read a short passage and answer 5 questions about it.

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·         Get the Egg (RS 1.1 p. 124-137)

 Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

  • Inflected endings: -s, -ing
  • Short vowel: e
  • Initial consonant blends: st, bl, pl, st, gr
